>writing exercise

>The assignment: pick two random things (from a list) and write about them together. What do they have in common? How can you wind them into one?

My two items: image of God and pumpkins.

Both shells, full of muck to be pulled out, sorted through, parts kept and others thrown away – then faces of my own design carved in.

    >Wow, we really do have lots in common. I work with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in LA (and have some dear friends who work with Campus Crusade! I love that you’re considering writing. I’m still in that what-the-heck-should-I-do-with-my-life stage. It’s so encouraging to hear that you’ve found some new direction WHILE being a mother. That feels comforting, somehow πŸ™‚

    >susannah – thanks for the compliment! hugs to you, too!larissa – i think being a mother actually catalyzed the direction. time seems a little more precious now, and i just don’t want to waste a minute on something i don’t love. amazing the clarity having a little person to be an example for gives you! πŸ™‚
